Aventura, FL Police Officer Appears in Bond Court on Multiple Charges

Fort Lauderdale, FL - Officer David Delgado, a member of the Aventura Police Department in Florida, has made an appearance in bond court following his arrest on several charges, including kidnapping and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. During the hearing held this morning, it was determined that Delgado would need to surrender his firearm. The 30-year-old officer's attorney stated that the entire interaction with two individuals in Pompano Beach lasted only five minutes. The court set Delgado's bond at $61,000, and he has been suspended from duty without pay.
