Government Overreach? NYC Cracking Down on Pizzeria Emissions

New York, NY - New York City's pizzerias may soon face significant changes as the city aims to crack down on carbon emissions. According to a report in The New York Post, the Department of Environmental Protection is in the process of drafting new rules that would require eateries, including pizza joints, to reduce their carbon emissions by as much as 75 percent. This would particularly affect establishments that rely on older coal and wood-fired ovens, as they would be required to invest in costly emission control devices.
