Republican Representative Jim Jordan is pressing YouTube for answers about potential external influences on its recent policy changes regarding firearms content. Jordan has sent a formal letter to Alphabet, YouTube's parent company, requesting detailed communications between YouTube and the Executive Branch, as well as other entities. He is particularly interested in understanding whether Democratic officials have played a role in shaping these new content moderation policies.
