Witkoff: Any Deal With Iran Must Be Indefinite

President Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff said any agreement with Iran will not include “sunset provisions.” Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, are leading talks with Iran. 

Axios reports that Witkoff made the remarks during a private meeting on Tuesday. A US official and two others said that Witkoff made clearthat any future nuclear deal will remain in effect indefinitely. 

In 2015, President Barack Obama signed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with Iran. That agreement placed strict limits and inspections on Iran’s civilian nuclear. . .
