House Democrats plan to force a vote on a War Powers Act Resolution to prevent President Donald Trump from launching an aggressive war against Iran. Trump has threatened to attack Iran if Tehran does not sign a new agreement significantly limiting its nuclear program.
On Thursday, House Democrats sent a letter saying they would force a vote on a War Powers resolution introduced by Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna. If passed into law, the resolution would constrain the President’s military options against Iran.
