The Upper Chamber of Congress voted down a War Powers Act Resolution that would have constrained President Donald Trump’s war-making against Iran.

On Wednesday, the Senate voted 47-53 on the resolution. Senator Rand Paul was the only Republican to vote in favor of the legislation. Paul co-sponsored the resolution along with Democrat Tim Kaine.

Senator John Fetterman joined the Republicans in voting down the legislation.
