The State Department used emergency powers to rush through billions in arms sales to Middle Eastern countries that have come under attack because of the US-Israeli war against Iran. 

The State Department Bureau of Political and Military Affairs announced a series of arms deals totaling $16 billion on Thursday. The UAE will purchase an advanced radar for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system valued at $4.5 billion.
