Vance Questions Pentagon’s Assessment of Iran War

Vice President JD Vance has been questioning the assessments coming out of the Department of War about the success of the US military in Iran. 

According to two senior White House officials speaking with The Atlantic, Vance has expressed skepticism about the Pentagon’s estimates about the depletion of US munitions during the war against Iran.  A report released last week by the Washington-based think tank Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) found that the Pentagon used about half of its stockpiles of advanced interceptors and standoff. . .
