Pentagon Asks Congress for $80 Billion to Fund Iran War

The Department of War is requesting that Congress pass $80 billion in supplemental military funding to cover the costs of the Iran war. 

The Associated Press reports that Secretary of War Pete Hegseth was on Capitol Hill Monday to lobby Congress to pass the additional funding. The $80 billion Hegseth is currently requesting is more than double what he told Congress. . .
