The Financial Times reports that American arms manufacturers are experiencing a surge in orders for weapons amid the war against Iran. 

The outlet reports, “Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon’s parent company RTX have raised profit forecasts as they reported record order backlogs.”

The surge in orders comes as Washington has depleted its stockpiles of key munitions, including Tomahawks, Patriots, THAAD, SM-3, SM-6, and JASSM missiles. The arms makers will be unable to fulfill the incoming orders any time soon. . .
