Accused Gilgo Beach Serial Killer Due Back in Court as Tips Flood Authorities

Rex Heuermann, the accused Gilgo Beach serial killer, is scheduled to appear in court today on Long Island. This marks his first court appearance since June 6th, when the New York City architect was charged with two additional murders, bringing the total number of alleged victims to six. These victims, mostly sex workers, include the "Gilgo Four," whose bound and burlap-covered remains were discovered on Gilgo Beach in 2010. Recently, dismembered remains of earlier victims were found in the Manorville Pine Barrens.
