Ansar Allah Demands Saudi Release of Prisoners, Access to Yemeni Oil Revenue

Ansar Allah, the ruling faction in Yemen, issued a list of demands in exchange for lifting the blockade of Saudi shipping. 

Hussain al-Bukhaiti, whose brother is a senior official in Ansar Allah, explained to The Washington Post that Saudi Arabia must end the blockade of Yemeni ports and airports, release oil revenue funds, and free Yemeni captives, or Sanaa would escalate the conflict beyond the ongoing blockade. 

Bukhaiti acknowledged that Riyadh is unlikely to comply with the demands.
