Axios: Senator Graham Wished He Had Passed Russian Sanctions Bill

Senator Lindsey Graham expressed regret that he was dying before passing a bill that added 500% tariffs on Russia. 

Axios reports that Graham joked just hours before his death, "I can't die now. I still need to do the Russia sanctions, get Iran sorted out and do Israeli-Saudi normalization."

The South Carolina Senator had been pushing a bill that would impose 500% tariffs on Russia. He referred to the legislation as the most “draconian” he had seen during his time in Congress.
