Bipartisanship emerged victorious in the halls of Congress this weekend, as leaders from both sides secured a temporary funding agreement that staves off a potential government shutdown for at least the next two months. The eleventh-hour deal, announced on Sunday, buys crucial time for lawmakers to finalize the $1.59 trillion appropriations bill for fiscal year 2024.
