In a concerted effort to tackle the pressing issue of veteran homelessness, a new bipartisan bill is set to take center stage in Congress. Spearheaded by Democratic Representative Josh Harder from California and Republican Representative Byron Donalds from Florida, the proposed legislation seeks to establish a more effective channel of communication between the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Representative Harder, who represents California's San Joaquin County, sheds light on the urgency of the matter by highlighting that, on any given night, approximately 140 homeless veterans. . .
