One of the largest meat distributors in the United States, Boar's Head, is recalling over 200,000 pounds of deli meat due to potential Listeria contamination. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall, highlighting the serious health risks associated with Listeria, which can cause deadly infections, particularly in vulnerable populations such as the elderly, pregnant women, and those with weakened immune systems.
