In a tragic incident on April 28, 2023, Jamie Lee Komoroski, 27, drove her vehicle at 65 mph in a 25 mph zone in Folly Beach, South Carolina, while under the influence of alcohol. Her car collided with a golf cart carrying newlyweds Samantha Miller, 34, and Aric Hutchinson, 36, along with two other passengers. Miller, still in her wedding dress, died at the scene, while Hutchinson sustained severe injuries, including two broken legs and a brain injury.
Komoroski's blood alcohol level was recorded at 0.26%, more than three times the legal limit. She pleaded guilty to charges. . .
