European, Gulf Countries Accept that Iran Will Impose Fees in the Strait of Hormuz

Some European and Gulf countries believe it is inevitable that ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz will have to pay a toll to Iran. 

Bloomberg reported on Thursday that some European governments and Gulf officials are accepting that Iran will control the Strait of Hormuz and can change fees for ships transiting the waterway. Tehran asserted its sovereignty over the Strait after the US and Israel started an aggressive war in February.
