One of America’s most advanced fighter jets will not take part in Sunday’s Super Bowl. 

Initially, two F-22’s were scheduled to join other fighters and bombers in a flyover of the Super Bowl in Santa Clara. The fifth-generation fighters were removed from the schedule due to operational needs.
