The FBI has disclosed new details about a covert operation in which Iranian hackers attempted to meddle in U.S. politics by sending stolen information from Donald Trump’s campaign to the Biden campaign. Officials revealed that the hackers sent unsolicited emails containing non-public materials taken from Trump’s 2020 campaign to individuals affiliated with President Joe Biden’s re-election team. Despite receiving these emails, there is no evidence that anyone in the Biden camp responded or used the stolen information, according to intelligence sources.
