Ippei Mizuhara, the former interpreter for Major League Baseball sensation Shohei Ohtani, has admitted guilt to serious charges of bank fraud and filing a false tax return, according to announcements from the Department of Justice. Mizuhara is accused of embezzling nearly $17 million from Ohtani to settle substantial illegal gambling debts.
