The courtroom in Texas County was tense as Cole Twombly, Tad Cullum, Tifany Adams, and Cora Twombly faced their first court appearance on charges of murder and kidnapping related to the deaths of Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39, both from Hugoton, Kansas.

The accused individuals, Cole Twombly, Tad Cullum, Tifany Adams, and Cora Twombly, walked into the Texas County Courthouse on Wednesday, April 17, under heavy security measures. The charges against them stem from a disturbing incident involving the murder and kidnapping of the two Kansas women.
