A peculiar incident in Arlington County, Virginia, has police scratching their heads and searching for a suspect disguised as a festive treat. Earlier this week, a resident on North George Mason Drive reported a strange encounter with a gingerbread man who, it seems, had more on his mind than carols and candy canes.

According to police reports, the costumed character, presumably not the friendly variety one might expect in a holiday story, attempted to enter the resident's home. The gingerbread man, described as an inflatable costume worn by an unidentified individual, approached the door. . .
