Hamas Releases Two American Hostages Citing Humanitarian Reasons

In a significant development, the Palestinian militant group Hamas has decided to release two American hostages, an American mother and her daughter from Chicago. Hamas cited humanitarian reasons for their release, particularly due to the mother's poor health. This release comes in response to mediation efforts led by Qatar. The two American hostages have been handed over to the Red Cross and are currently en route out of Gaza.
