U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announces the successful completion of "Operation Patriot," a month-long enforcement initiative that results in the arrest of 1,461 undocumented individuals across Massachusetts. The operation is now being described as the largest migrant criminal enforcement action in the state's history and one of the largest ever executed nationwide.
Carried out over the course of May, Operation Patriot focuses on individuals with significant criminal records, including affiliations with transnational gangs such as MS-13, Tren de Aragua, Trinitarios, and 18th Street. ICE states that over half of those arrested have prior convictions. . .
