Iran Will Not Allow Other Countries to Demine the Strait of Hormuz

Iran rejected a proposal from Oman and France to demine the Strait of Hormuz.
On Monday, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the plan to demine the Strait after a meeting with the Sultan of Oman. “We are working together for de-escalation in the Middle East,” he wrote on X. “We have decided to collaborate jointly, in coordination with our partners, on demining the strait to secure maritime routes and ensure free and unconditional passage through the Strait of Hormuz.”
