Iranian Drone Hit Amazon Data Center in Bahrain

An Iranian drone hit an Amazon Web Services (AWS) data center in Bahrain, causing a fire. Tehran says it targeted the infrastructure of US companies in the Middle East in response to the assassination of Iranian leaders. 

On Wednesday, Bahrain confirmed that an AWS facility was on fire, but did not say how the blaze was sparked. Iran said it was behind the attack on Thursday. “We warned that if the assassinations continue, we will target American intelligence companies specializing in information technology,” the Iranian military said.
