Israel has reopened the Rafah border crossing to a limited number of Palestinian pedestrians. 

Under President Donald Trump’s Middle East peace deal, Israel agreed to reopen Gaza’s border crossing to Egypt. Palestinians hoped that the Rafah crossing would be a lifeline for aid deliveries into the Strip. 

However, Israel has fallen short of its commitment to Trump’s peace deal. Tel Aviv is refusing to allow any cargo to cross into Gaza from Egypt. . .
