Israel Begins Process of Ending Weapons Trade with France

The Israeli Defense Minister is scaling back arms procurement from France with the goal of ending all arms trade with the European state. 

Senior Israeli officials confirmed to The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday that Tel Aviv has started the process of cutting weapons trade with Paris. Defense Minister Israel Katz and Defense Ministry Director General Amir Baram formally ordered scaling back contracts with France for arms. 

The Jerusalem Post suggests that the policy change is mostly symbolic, as Paris began a boycott of Israeli weapons in response. . .
