Israel Says Countries That Asked for Gaza Ceasefire Are ‘Disconnected From Reality’

On Monday, a group of 25 Western nations signed a letter calling on Israel to agree to a ceasefire and allow more aid into Gaza. Tel Aviv dismissed the letter. 

The statement, signed by the UK, France, and Japan among other countries, says: 

We, the signatories listed below, come together with a simple, urgent message: the war in Gaza must end now.
