Lawsuit Filed Against California’s Transgender Notification Ban in Schools

A national litigation firm, the Liberty Justice Center, has filed a lawsuit challenging California’s newly enacted transgender parental notification ban in schools. The suit, titled Chino Valley Unified School District v. Newsom, names Governor Gavin Newsom, California Attorney General Rob Bonta, and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond as defendants.
