Man Charged with Attempted Murder and Arson After Fire at Pennsylvania Governor’s Mansion

A man is in custody and facing multiple felony charges, including attempted murder and arson, following a fire early Sunday morning at the official residence of Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. The blaze breaks out around 2 a.m. at the Harrisburg mansion where Shapiro lives with his family. Authorities confirm that the governor, his wife, and their children were home at the time but were able to escape safely and without injury.
