A mistrial has been declared in the highly publicized Massachusetts murder trial of Karen Read. The jury informed the judge once again today that they could not reach a unanimous verdict, leading to the decision to declare a mistrial.

Read is accused of killing her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe, by allegedly backing into him with her SUV and leaving him to die in a snowstorm in Dedham in 2022. Throughout the trial, the defense has argued that Read is being framed by corrupt police officers, casting doubt. . .
