Netanyahu Asked Trump to Postpone Strike on Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called President Donald Trump, requesting that the US delay an attack on Iran. Other Middle Eastern countries have asked Washington not to start a new war with the Islamic Republic. 

According to the New York Times, on Wednesday, Netanyahu asked Trump to postpone an attack on Iran. The outlet did not explain why Netanyahu made the request. Washington and Tel Aviv did not respond to the Times requests to comment on the story.
