Netanyahu Says Israel Will Stay in Lebanon

In further defiance of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the US and Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the IDF will stay in Lebanon until Hezbollah is defeated. 

“As long as Hezbollah is here and threatens us, we are staying. Our instruction to the troops is: If you identify a threat, act,” Netanyahu told Israeli soldiers on Tuesday. “We took the Iranian axis and began to crush it. The most important link was here, Hezbollah.”
