Netanyahu’s Trial Again Delayed as Trump Demands a Pardon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu again had his trial for corruption and bribery delayed on security grounds. The pause comes as President Donald Trump has twice demanded the trial end and Netanyahu receive a pardon. 

After Netanyahu was ordered to court to resume his trial, his lawyers submitted a motion to suspend proceedings for two weeks. “The court is respectfully requested to order the cancellation of the hearings in which the prime minister was scheduled to testify in the coming two weeks,” the filing. . .
