Neuralink, the neurotechnology company founded by Elon Musk, has reported a malfunction in its first human brain implant. The device, designed to enable individuals with paralysis to control external technology using their brain signals, experienced a setback when threads recording neural activity retracted from the brain of 29-year-old Noland Arbaugh, a quadriplegic.
