New York Court Upholds Gag Order on Donald Trump in Hush Money Case

New York's highest court has declined to hear former President Donald Trump’s appeal to lift the gag order imposed in his hush money case. The court’s decision maintains the restrictions put in place following Trump’s felony conviction on 34 counts of falsifying business records related to a payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.


Judge Juan Merchan, who presided over the case, imposed the gag order to prevent Trump from making public statements that could influence the ongoing legal proceedings or potentially incite public unrest. . .
