Qatari PM Says Partial Gaza Deal Left More Difficult Issues to Be Resolved Later

The Prime Minister of Qatar explained to the New York Times that the ceasefire and hostages exchanged between Israel and Hamas last week was a partial agreement that did not include the most contentious issues. 

Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani explained, “If we went for full-package negotiations, we wouldn’t have reached these results.” The unresolved issues include addressing the disarmament of Hamas and governing Gaza post-war. 

The deal agreed to on Wednesday calls for Hamas to release the 48 remaining hostages. . .
