Rep. Greene Slams Trump’s Bombing of Iran as “Bait and Switch”

U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) sharply criticized President Donald Trump’s decision to bomb Iranian nuclear sites, calling it a betrayal of his core campaign promises and branding the move as a “bait and switch.”

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Greene expressed outrage, writing that Trump’s “MAGA agenda promised no more foreign wars, no more regime change — and world peace.” Instead, she said, “only six months in, we are back into foreign wars, regime change, and World War Three.”
