A second U.S. Navy fighter jet has crashed into the Red Sea following a failed landing attempt aboard the USS Harry S. Truman, marking another significant incident for the aircraft carrier currently deployed in the volatile Middle East region. The aircraft, identified as an F/A-18E Super Hornet, reportedly went overboard after experiencing a critical malfunction during final approach, according to the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet.
