Sharp Rise in Suicides By IDF Soldiers

The number of Israeli soldiers committing suicide has increased as the onslaught in Gaza nears the two-year mark. 

Haaretz reports: 

Since the beginning of the war, there has been an increase in the number of soldiers who committed suicide on active duty. From October 7, 2023 through the end of 2023, seven soldiers committed suicide. In 2024, 21 soldiers took their own lives, and since the beginning of this year, at least 15 more have committed suicide.
