Justice was served today for the family of Christine Embree, a 35-year-old mother tragically killed in an August 2022 e-bike collision. Judge [Judge's name] sentenced Lindsey Turmelle, the driver responsible, to 90 days in county jail and 90 days of home detention.

Turmelle, 43, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter in the crash that claimed Embree's life. Embree was riding an e-bike with her 16-month-old daughter near the intersection of Basswood Avenue and Valley Street when Turmelle, driving a Toyota 4Runner, ran a stop sign and struck them.
