Texas Doctors Halt Practice Amid Legal Actions Over Transgender Youth Care

In Texas, three physicians accused of providing gender-affirming healthcare to minors are no longer practicing medicine due to recent legal interventions. Two of the doctors have entered legally binding agreements to cease all patient care, while the third is under a court-ordered injunction prohibiting the administration of any gender-transition medications to children.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton alleges that these medical professionals administered high doses of cross-sex hormones to numerous minors with the explicit intent of facilitating gender transition. Investigations claim that the doctors employed false diagnoses and billing codes to conceal these prescriptions.
