Titan Submersible Investigation Delays Due to Complexity and Forensic Challenges

The U.S. Coast Guard reports that the investigation into the tragic implosion of the Titan submersible, which resulted in the deaths of all five individuals aboard, is taking longer than initially planned. The incident occurred last June as the submersible was descending to the Titanic wreckage site.

Initially, the Coast Guard aimed to release a comprehensive report within a year of the incident. However, in a statement released Friday, the Coast Guard Marine Board of Investigation revealed that the probe is proving to be "a complex and ongoing effort. . .
