Toxic algae blooms have re-emerged in the Inland Empire, causing concern among residents and local authorities. The blue-green algae, known for its slimy appearance and potential health hazards, has been detected in several lakes and ponds throughout Eastern Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties.
