In a somber conclusion to a heartbreaking case, Kevin Monahan, a 65-year-old resident of Hebron, New York, has been sentenced to 25 years to life for the second-degree murder conviction in the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Kaylin Gillis. The incident unfolded in April of the previous year when Gillis and her friends, on their way to a party, mistakenly entered Monahan's driveway.
