President Donald Trump is growing increasingly frustrated with the situation in Cuba as the government in Havana remains firmly in charge of the Caribbean nation. 

According to US officials speaking with NBC News, the White House believes that current pressure on Cuba could lead the government to fall by the end of the year. However, Trump views that timeline as insufficient and wants to complete the regime change sooner.
