Trump: I Doubt NATO Would Be There for Us If We Really Needed Them

President Donald Trump suggested NATO is a paper tiger without the US, and that the alliance members would be unlikely to come to America’s aid if called upon. 

“RUSSIA AND CHINA HAVE ZERO FEAR OF NATO WITHOUT THE UNITED STATES, AND I DOUBT NATO WOULD BE THERE FOR US IF WE REALLY NEEDED THEM,” the President wrote on Truth Social Wednesday. “EVERYONE IS LUCKY THAT I REBUILT OUR MILITARY IN MY FIRST TERM, AND CONTINUE TO DO SO.”
