The U.S. Embassy in Mexico is issuing a security alert following multiple incidents involving American citizens who were kidnapped after meeting individuals through dating apps. These cases have occurred in recent months in the resort areas of Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Nayarit, and officials say the trend is concerning enough to merit direct intervention and public warning.
